July 2012 In June, the AERA Online Paper Repository continued its growth with the addition of 2012 AERA Annual Meeting papers. The 2012 papers join those archived in the repository beginning with the 2010 Annual Meeting. The repository was launched in 2010 to make unpublished research papers widely available.
This year, 3,401 presenters elected to participate in the repository with full-text papers. The 2012 papers bring the total to nearly 10,700 papers from three years of annual meetings.
In addition to full-text papers, the AERA repository also holds the presentation records of all AERA annual meetings from 2010 forward. The system contains approximately 24,500 records, including abstracts, keywords, methodologies, and author contact information. These records are available to anyone wishing to browse and search. To access the repository, users must set up a free account.
Access to the full-text papers is a benefit of membership for all current AERA members. Full-text papers from a given annual meeting are also accessible to registrants for that meeting. At both levels of access, the repository serves as an ongoing link connecting scholars at all career stages to researchers currently working in a wide variety of areas.
