The SIG CIAE has organized sessions for AERA 2013 where scholars presented their work on the topics related to the computer and Internet Applications in Education research. We are excited to see that these sessions advanced the research and scholarly conversation in the field.

This year, we organized our own business meeting at AERA with a special event titled: “Options and Strategies for Publishing Computers and Internet Applications Research”. We organized a panel with journal editors, representing different types of journals of interest to SIG-CIAE members.

Our distinguished panelists provided excellent insights about publishing in our field, information about their journals, and great tips about the publication process, from preparing a manuscript for publication to themes and trends in publishing  CIAE research. We are grateful to our panelists as well as our SIG members and participants who engaged in this scholarly and informative conversation during our business meeting.
