The purpose of the Longitudinal Studies SIG is: to support and foster the understanding of longitudinal research designs and analyses in education and the use and dissemination of longitudinal data and substantive findings, including data from national (e.g., NCES), state (e.g., state administrative/tracking systems), and local (e.g., district) sources.
